Groat farmstead levelled and buried
Another local landmark is gone. The Groat farmstead northeast of Endiang, although abandoned for several years, has been levelled and buried. The big hip-roof barn and large farmhouse withstood many decades of harsh prairie weather and was a symbol of the hard work typical of many of the early pioneers who settled the land and built the country.

Vaccine rollout expanding to Phase 2B
More than 945,000 Albertans with underlying health conditions are now eligible to book their COVID-19 vaccination, the Alberta government announced March 29. Phase 2B of Alberta’s vaccine rollout includes cancer patients, transplant recipients, individuals with disabilities, dementia and other conditions that put them at higher risk of severe outcomes from COVID-19.
